On 31st March to the 2nd April teams from Scotland, Wales & Newcastle upon Tyne, came together to participate in Tunnocks Bonspiel held in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.

This is the final competition of the 2014/2015 season. Northern Ice drove north with great hopes of bringing some silverware home to the Northeast, Sadly it wasn’t meant to be, but having an asset like Joan Reed (Coach) in the back ground! the future looks bright. The team had some up & down results played 10, won 5 lost 5. we eventually finished joint 3rd.

On reflection the team is looking better drilled, understanding what they are trying to accomplish & more professional on & off the ice! under the guidance of there new coach.

The feedback was great from other teams & the able bodied helper (most of them have seen the rollercoaster ride of the Northern ice journey so far).
